New York Moment

As I was walking home from class today, I passed a little place called Cafe University. It usually is filled with students and teachers and occasionally the rando New Yorker, but today there were signs on the doors and paper covering the windows.
Curiously, I read one of the signs on the door. It said that it was closed due to health violations.
Later I found out that they had racked up 145 points of violations (thats triple what you need to fail inspection). Some things the health inspectors found were mouse droppings, food that had been left out for too long, and fruit flies.
Good to know I just ate there Saturday...
RIP Cafe University.
