Planking

It seems this "planking" has become quite a fad.
For those of you who don't know about this game, I will give you my description (I did some wikipedia research as well...  Here is the site in case you want it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planking_(fad)):
It was invented in 1997 (or 1994?) by two very bored people. The game involves laying down on ones stomach with their hands touching their side (in plank position) somewhere one would not be expected to lay down. While one person does this planking action, someone else takes a picture.
Sounds interesting, right?

If you aren't convinced of the hilarity of this game by these photos, then something is wrong with you. 

Kidding. But seriously, pretty funny right? 

So the game is perfect for a pranker or class clown. 

Until the game goes completely wrong. 

Take this guy, Acton Beale, a 20 year old Australian who died while attempting to plank on his balcony rail. 

Okay, so not the brightest move. Not to speak ill of the dead, but come on... your balcony RAIL!? 

Acton: "Guys, check me out! I'm going to plank on a balcony rail! Get the camera!"

Friend 1: "Dude, thats probably not a great idea."

Friend 2: "Yeah man, I mean its pretty high."

Acton: "Whatever, dudes. Check it o..."         ........

Maybe that should be on that show 1000 Ways To Die?

At least he went out in style.
