So as some of you may know, I have been trying to stick to a very low-carb diet. It was going really well, until my sister came into town and I completely blew it.
But even before that, I was struggling to stick to it.
Now, I am turning over a new leaf, and starting a healthier lifestyle.
So far, I have decided that I am going to eat more fruits, veggies, and whole grains while sticking to lots of protein and still low carb.
I am going to exercise more, and eat less.
But, I also have found some really great recipes for low-carb foods, that also taste delicious!
Here is the website:
Candice's Low Carb Recipes
She has a really wonderful blog filled with awesome ideas.
I spent at least 4 hours tonight making some of these (pumpkin muffins, pumpkin cookies, and snickerdoodles). They all taste really wonderful!
As for getting healthy, the only thing you have to tell yourself is that it is not a diet--it is a lifestyle. Don't put any restrictions on yourself, just make foods you like in a healthier way. Its easy!
For those of you who are trying to get healthy as well, just keep at it! YOU CAN DO IT!
Easier said than done, I know. Trust me. But you have to start somewhere, and you have to have some patience. Results don't always come as quickly as you want them.
But I can tell you from experience, going crazy because you aren't seeing results is the fastest way to see negative results.
